The Tahune Airwalk offers a day filled with adventure and fun in Tasmania’s renowned southern forests for the whole family. Visitors will experience breathtaking views of the forest canopy from this unique 600m elevated walkway culminating on a cantilevered section suspended 50m over the Huon River. Available is disabled access to those who need it. There are spine tingling suspension bridges over the mighty Huon and Picton rivers, amazing photo opportunities and peaceful forest walks. See many of Tasmania’s specialty timbers in their natural environment, Sassafras, Myrtle, Celery Top Pine, Blackwood, Huon Pine, Leatherwood and more. Those seeking a more adventurous experience can soar over the mighty Huon River in the Cable Eagle Hang Glider. Not enough time in the day! Stay the night in the Airwalk Lodge or Tahune Cabin.
Enjoy a refreshing local beverage or meal in the visitor centre and peruse an extensive range of locally made craft, specialty timbers, Tahune branded product and more in the gift shop. Complimentary barbecue facilities are also available on site.
The Tahune Airwalk is open 7 days a week (except Christmas Day/extreme weather conditions).
